Following a TBI, rehab can be extensive and ongoing. It is important to have a strong support system to help deal with the emotional changes that may arise. Most people will need occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Many people will benefit from talking to a psychologist to help understand their feelings after losing their independence, and possibly their career, friendships, and relationships.
