depressedThis year Mental Health Awareness week is from October 6 to October 12.

World Mental Health Day and National Depression Screening Day is October 10.  Self-care is often overlooked; make it a point to get a checkup from the neck up!

Behavioral Health Statistics:

  • According to the World Health Organization (WHO), depression will be the largest cause of ill health in the world by 2030.
  • Nearly 1 in 5 American adults will have a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year.
  • ADHD, addiction and adolescent depression are increasing at alarming rates.
  • Suicide continues to be the 10th leading cause of death in the United States
