Dysphagia Meal Safety Training
The following educational materials on Dysphagia were presented to nurses on
October 7, 2011 as part of a Train the Trainer Event
in the Southeast Region of Pennsylvania. The intent was that the materials could be used by nurses in their educational presentations
for individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), direct support professionals, family members, etc.
The materials are being provided for your convenience and in an effort to promote education about the diagnosis of Dysphagia and the
seriousness of this condition for people with I/DD.
