3rd Annual Stay Healthy Fair

In an effort to help keep people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their caregivers informed of the most up to date health information and resources available, PCHC was pleased to host the 3rd Annual Stay Healthy Fair on September 19, 2008. There were numerous exhibitors that shared information about who they are and how they can provide help for all of us. The fair was an event full of fun, activities, entertainment, and fitness. There were approximately 200 participants who participated in the Health Fair. Entertainment was provided by KINDSLAM Dance Team from Elwyn Post Community Center, a group of people with I/DD. The participants, exhibitors, and caregivers truly enjoyed their performances. Exhibitors shared their expertise in many areas of health and fitness. There were blood pressure screenings, stress tests, nutrition screenings, message therapy, durable medical equipment information and resources, and much more.
